Dr. Mildred Golden Pryor is Professor of Management at Texas A&M University-Commerce and College of Business and Entrepreneurship Faculty Mentor.  She has received a number of teaching awards including 2012, 2011, and 2010 Texas A&M University System Teaching Excellence Awards and the 2006 Paul W. Barrus Distinguished Faculty Senate Award for Teaching. She has also received a number of Research Awards (e.g., the 2012 Provost Award for Research & Creative Activity, the 2011 H.M. Lafferty Distinguished Faculty Award for Scholarship and Creative Activity presented by the TAMUC Faculty Senate), and many research awards from various professional organizations.

Dr. Pryor’s Ph.D. is in Business with fields in Production and Operations Management, Organizational Theory and Behavior, and Quantitative Methods. Her post-doctoral studies are in Leadership, Quality Management, and Organizational Transformation. She is a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Academy of Strategic Management Journal.  Dr. Pryor has 18 years in management positions at E-Systems (Raytheon), Greenville, Texas and Campbell Soup, Paris, Texas.  Her management positions were in Quality Improvement, Organizational Development, and Organizational Transformation.  She has teaching experience at Texas A&M University-Commerce, Stephen F. Austin State University, Delta State University, and the European Theater of Troy State University (England, Germany, and Turkey).  Dr. Pryor’s research interests and current publications are in the areas of Strategic Management, Organizational Transformation, Quality Management, Process Management, Spirituality in the Workplace, Ethics, and Management History.  Her textbook is entitled Strategic Quality Management:  A Strategic, Systems Approach to Continuous Improvement.
