Dr. LaVelle Hendricks Honored for Tenacity and Service

Dr. LaVelle Hendricks, an A&M-Commerce faculty member, recently received the Community Award for Tenacity and Service from the Texas Offender Education Services Association.

Hendricks advocates for the utilization of programs and services for clients involved in the judicial system throughout the state of Texas. He is a noted researcher in the field of addiction and the direct impact it has upon the families and friends of those suffering from this disease. His leadership has enabled him to collaborate with state and federal administration on how best to address this continuing affliction for the well being of Texas citizens.
