‘Love Letters’ Special Performance on Nov. 7
COMMERCE, Texas — Bring a date and attend a special University Playhouse one night only performance of “Love Letters,” coming Friday, Nov. 7.
This romantic comedy made popular by the late actor Charlton Heston and his wife, Lydia Clarke Heston, is set for 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Admission will be two-for-one with student tickets costing $3, senior citizens’ tickets at $8, and adult tickets at $10.
Playing the couple are Dr. John Hanners, head of the A&M-Commerce theatre department, and Emily Hunt of Greenville.
Hanners has recently acted in Dallas venues like the Bath House Cultural Center and the Hub Theatre in Deep Ellum. Hunt played many leading roles at Casa Manana Playhouse in Fort Worth and in the A&M-Commerce Summer Alumni Musical Series.
