College of Business Student Invited to Partake at Private Directors Association-DFW Monthly Meeting
Interim Associate Dean of the Texas A&M University-Commerce College of Business and Professor of Management, Dr. Guclu Atinc, accompanied a group of five students from the Management 527 and Management 340/550 class to take part in the exclusive Private Directors Association-DFW monthly meeting.
As part of the College of Business' efforts to ensure that students have ample opportunities to grow academically and professionally, the students were invited to network and learn from the expertise of a wide range of directors, executives and other C-Suite executives from across a plethora of sectors who convened for the meeting.
“It's always immensely gratifying to witness our students seamlessly merge theoretical knowledge with practical application,” Atinc said. “The opportunity to engage with esteemed professionals at the Private Directors Association-DFW not only enriches their academic journey but also nurtures crucial networking skills essential for their future success. We eagerly anticipate further collaborations with the Private Directors Association-DFW as we continue to empower our students with invaluable real-world experiences and connections.”
Reflecting on the event, Maria Santos, one of the graduate students in attendance, conveyed her gratitude, saying, “It was an incredible experience to attend a chapter meeting with the Private Directors Association-DFW with Dr. Guclu Atinc. I want to thank the College of Business and the Private Directors Association-DFW for this opportunity.”
