Education Dean Offers Inspirational Welcome Message

Entering her first semester as Dean of the College of Education and Human Services at Texas A&M University-Commerce, Dr. Kimberly McLeod hopes to inspire the college's students, faculty, alumni and community partners to join together for a successful fall term. She recently emailed a special welcome message to students, alumni and community partners.

McLeod wants students to know faculty and staff have spent the summer diligently preparing for their arrival, despite many uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic heading into this semester.

“Our greatest strength is our diversity, our intellectual input and our collective capital,” McLeod said in the video. “Together, we will be the answer to problems that don't currently exist for our students, for our communities, for the workforce our students will enter.”
