ETSU Graduate Named Distinguished Alumni by Temple Education Foundation
Lion graduate Earl Nottingham was recently named a Distinguished Alumni by the Temple Education Foundation at a ceremony on October 21. Nottingham graduated from East Texas State University (now-Texas A&M University-Commerce) in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Photography. He achieved success for almost two decades as a freelance photographer, running his own business before taking the position of chief photographer with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in 1996. He recently retired from this position. The Temple Education Foundation develops community support to expand financial resources that enrich teaching and inspire learning to maximize opportunities for all students in the Temple Independent School District in Temple, Texas. Nottingham is a 1972 graduate of Temple High School.
