Health and Human Performance Instructor Accepts TEAFCS Award

Dr. Elizabeth Wachira, professor of health and human performance at A&M-Commerce, accepted the 2019 Texas Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (TEAFCS) Distinguished Service Award for her students' work in planning and executing the Rains County Health Fair in collaboration with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office. The purpose of the event was to promote healthy living choices and provide educational resources to the community.
