Lion Alum Named One of the Best Butchers in Dallas
A Lion alum has just been named a top butcher in the Dallas area by D Magazine. Nathan Abeyta, a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce (now East Texas A&M University) with a bachelor’s degree in English, was featured in the article for his work at Deep Cuts Dallas, a butcher shop located at 7989 Belt Line Road in Dallas that has twice been featured in the magazine’s “Best of Big D” awards. In the article, Abeyta explained how he learned how to hunt and process animals as a child with his father. Read more at D Magazine.
