The Marketing and Business Analytics Student Organization (MKTBA) at the A&M-Commerce College of Business recently hosted 2019 Alumni Award Recipient and PepsiCo/Frito-Lay Communications Manager Amy Wehr as the first guest to take part in their ‘Meet the Professional’ series.

Speaking to a group of approximately 30 students in addition to several faculty and staff members, Wehr shared her valuable insights and experience in the marketing industry, the latest marketing trends and techniques, and discussed how PepsiCo/Frito-Lay stays ahead of the competition through its innovative marketing strategies.

Starting with the company at the age of 15, she shared highlights and milestones from her 28-year career span thus far with the company and how A&M-Commerce played a role in transforming her life. Not only does Wehr hold a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. from A&M-Commerce, but her husband, brother-in-law, and her extended sister all have degrees from the university. Not to mention, she is also an advisory board member for the College of Business.
