Personal Financial Planning Program Earns Approval of Financial-planning Nonprofit

Dr. Jared Pickens, assistant professor in Economics and Finance and director of Personal Financial Planning, recently had the Graduate Minor in Personal Financial Planning program approved by the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board, a nonprofit organization that grants and upholds the Certified Financial Planner certification. This makes the College of Business the only AACSB-accredited business school in Texas to have a graduate-degree minor registered with the CFP Board.
