Residential Assistants, Peer Counselors Needed for Summer Upward Bound Program
A&M-Commerce's TRiO Upward Bound Pre-Collegiate Program is hiring a residential assistant and peer counselors for the Summer I term. Upward Board offers under-represented high school students access to higher education and assists them with academic preparation through instruction in a college environment.
Among other tasks, the residential assistant (RA) will oversee day-to-day operations in the residence hall, supervise the peer counselor staff, plan residential activities and monitor the academic progress of students in the program. Peer counselors will supervise students and engage them in academic and social activities. Individuals in these positions will serve as live-in mentors. Room and board fees will be covered.
