Rodeo Team Members Win National Accolades

Ty Harris, a sophomore in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, won the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Rookie of the Year award in tie-down roping. The award is one of the highest awards from the PRCA because contestants only have one chance to win in their rodeo career. Harris is also the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association National Champion Calf Roper for 2018. He competes in tie-down roping and team roping in NIRA rodeos.
