Save the Date: Ag Networking Night
The Texas A&M University-Commerce Career Development department will host Agriculture Networking Night on November 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Rayburn Student Center.
“The Agriculture Networking Night is a great opportunity for students to meet potential future employers in a networking setting and potentially learn about a new profession in their field they may not have previously considered,” said Employer Relations Coordinator Bethany Ferrall. “Employers love attending these events because they get to see top notch students in a true networking environment. Any student or alumnus who is looking for a job or internship in the agriculture field should attend this event to take the next step in their career.”
Agriculture students will have the chance to network with professionals in their desired field of study at this event. Attendees can meet future contacts and even learn about new, exciting career paths that they may not have considered. The event will be catered, and it is free and open to students and alumni.
“Mix and mingle with people who are in the industry you are interested in pursuing,” said Director of Career Development Tina Boitnott. “This is a great way to make some connections.”
Those interested in attending should register at www.hirealion.com.
