TAMUC Robotics Team Reaches Quarterfinals in First University Competition
The student-led robotics team from Texas A&M University-Commerce made a splash recently, reaching the quarterfinals of the Texas VEXU Qualifying Tournament in the team's first competition. The A&M-Commerce team defeated the team representing Texas A&M University in both the qualifying round and in the first round of elimination matches. Lions Pride Robotics finished with a tournament record of two wins and three losses after being knocked out in the quarterfinal round by the eventual tournament champions from the University of Florida.
