Yumiko Kasai Awarded Social Work Scholarship

Master of Social Work student Yumiko Kasai was recently awarded a 2019 Ima Hogg Scholarship. According to the Hogg Foundation website, the foundation awards annual scholarships to graduate social work students who intend to join the mental health workforce. “Nominated by the heads of their social work programs, these students were chosen for their potential to bring renewed energy to the Texas mental health workforce,” the website states.
