At Mane Event, our showcase provides a glimpse into the university experience. While here, you’ll tour our Morris Recreation Center, residence halls and academic buildings. Meet with current students, faculty and staff as you discover the degree program that is perfect for you. Get your questions answered about financial aid, scholarships, the honors program, steps to enrollment, living on campus and much more!

SEE HOW EASY TRANSFERRING CAN BE!

Join us for Transfer Thursday at our new Dallas location! Participate in an evening designed to make transferring to the university seamless with various presentations ranging from admissions and advising to financial aid. End the night with an open Q&A where we can answer any additional questions you might have. Our goal is to help you achieve the education, and the career you’ve always dreamed was possible.

Weekday Campus Tours

The best way to learn about A&M-Commerce is to visit campus!

During your visit, you can explore our spectacular facilities, including academic buildings and the student center. You can also meet A&M-Commerce students and learn about the numerous opportunities that await you. Weekday campus tours are:

  • 90-minute walking tours
  • Offered weekdays at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • Led by Lion Ambassadors – current students who share their individual experiences about A&M-Commerce and provide information that will help you make your college decision.

Advanced registration is required. After you schedule your visit, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details, including directions to campus and parking information.

Group Visits

Group Visits

If you are a school counselor or organization sponsor, we invite you to bring groups of students to visit A&M-Commerce virtually or in-person!

We love to welcome groups to our campus! If you’re interested in gathering online, we are too — reach out with your request, and we’ll do our best to arrange an interactive info session for your group.

Group visits typically consist of a campus tour and an admissions presentation, but we can customize the experience to meet your group’s needs. To ensure the best possible experience for your group, please email us to discuss available dates and your preferred schedule.

ADMITTED STUDENTS DAY

ADMITTED STUDENT DAY

We can’t wait to hear you roar! You’ve applied; you’ve waited, and now you’re accepted! Join us for Admitted Student Day, and be sure to bring your family. Going to college is a major milestone, and we’re here to celebrate this moment with you!

We invite you to return to campus with your fellow future lions to finalize important next steps, take another look at your future home away from home and get excited about the amazing fall we are planning for you.  You’ve made it this far; we’re here to cheer you on!

At Admitted Student Day:

  • Tour your residence hall and meet up with your future roommates.
  • Finalize and accept your scholarships, financial aid and sign up for new student orientation.
  • Meet professors from your future academic college.
  • Load up on lion gear for Blue & Gold Wednesdays.

Need something special to make your visit great?

We are committed to providing access and accommodations to our services, programs, activities, education and employment for individuals with disabilities.

Visitor Parking

If you plan to visit The McDowell Administration building, you can park for a half-hour in front of the building. If you can stay longer, go by the cashier’s window just inside the front entry of The McDowell Administration building for a complimentary visitor’s permit.

Texas Senate Bill 11 permits concealed carry of firearms in Texas A&M University-Commerce buildings only to persons who have been issued and are in possession of a texas license to carry permit. Pursuant to pc 46.035 and A&M-Commerce rule 34.06.02.r1, permit holders may not carry in restricted locations. Please observe temporary building and venue signage; to comply with state law and report violations to the university police department at 903.886.5868 or 9-1-1, view the campus procedure.
