Lion Spring Fest: Pi Kappa Alpha’s 28th Annual Crawfish Festival
Pi Kappa Alpha partnered with East Texas A&M University to host the 28th Annual Pike Crawfish Festival on April 12, 2025. Anyone was welcome to attend and enjoy the festivities, which included food, snow cones, bouncy houses just for kids, and live music.
The crawfish boil was the main attraction, but many local food trucks were also available for the fest. The activities took place in the tailgate area near the field house and stadium, which allowed people to secure their tailgating spots for the spring football game.
The free spring game featured the Lion Football team’s offense and defense playing against each other. After the game, fans could get autographs from their favorite players.
The proceeds from the crawfish festival were donated to the Lion Food Pantry on campus. The Lion Food Pantry supplies free food and personal care items to students in need.
