East Texas A&M has established requirements regarding the operation of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) on campus property or by employees in their professional capacity.
In light of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and the growing commercial use of UAS, East Texas A&M must ensure that it maintains oversight and communicates the necessary guidelines to faculty, staff, students, contractors, visitors, and third-party vendors when operating UAS and model aircraft on university property or during work-related activities.
