Mission

The mission of the Texas A&M University-Commerce Staff Council is to serve as a representative voice for all university staff members and to serve as a liaison between university staff and upper administration. The Council strives to support university staff and to improve the sense of community among university employees.
The Council is committed to serving staff members' needs by:
  • Serving as a conduit for bringing staff concerns before the administration
  • Acting as a line of communication for pertinent information affecting staff members
  • Interacting with other representative bodies and councils on campus
  • Providing staff recognition services
  • Promoting staff development and training opportunities
  • Advancing the mission and the strategic goals of the University

In April of 2021, the Staff Council conducted a job satisfaction survey for the campus. Below are the results of the survey and the recommendations made by the Staff Council to the President's office.
