How is your degree program preparing you for a career once you graduate from East Texas A&M?
The Supervision, Curriculum and Instruction doctoral program at East Texas A&M is preparing me for a successful career post-graduation. The curriculum enhances my leadership skills, curriculum-development expertise, and literacy instruction strategies. Through hands-on experiences and practical coursework, I am gaining a deep understanding of effective supervision practices and innovative instructional techniques. Which professor or staff member has positively influenced you?
Dr. Tami Morton has had a positive influence on me. She has overcome a lot and still accomplished her dreams. I saw how she could, so I knew I could, too. She believed in me.
What is an important life lesson you have learned at East Texas A&M?
There are people out there who want to see you win. I did not think I could do all the life things and knock out my career goals. East Texas A&M helped me become a stronger educator.
What do you like to do when you are not attending classes?
I love to travel and spend time with family.
