A Conversation With Charles
How do you help students at A&M-Commerce?
I help students by encouraging a positive outlook and focusing on the good. Positivity goes a long way toward student success. It’s key to provide opportunities for small successes and then celebrate them.
How do you like to stay active?
I like to play intramural sports, tennis and golf.
What do you like most about your role in Campus Rec?
I really enjoy meeting all the patrons and their stories. There is really no better place to socialize and work with a great group of student workers.
What else would you like to share about yourself or your A&M-Commerce experience?
Moving to Texas has been an amazing experience for me. I appreciate the variety and richness of this state and the friendly people I encounter. The only thing I don't like is the scorching heat at times. I can’t wait for what’s next!
