A Conversation with SARAH
How do you like to stay active?
Swimming and walking/hiking
What do you like most about your career in Campus Rec?
I love getting to interact with such a large portion of the student body. I also putting together events where different groups across campus can come enjoy the pool and see what Campus Recreation has to offer.
What else would you like to share about yourself or your East Texas A&M experience?
During my interview process, I was taken on a tour around town to see common places and the campus. I immediately fell in love with the community and the campus. My time at ETAMU was truly transformative, playing a pivotal role in shaping and solidifying my perspectives on both my personal and professional life.
How do you help students at East Texas A&M?
I coordinate and facilitate a range of aquatic recreation events specifically tailored for college students. These events provide opportunities for students to connect, socialize, and build friendships within a relaxed, enjoyable, and stress-free setting. By organizing activities that center around our aquatic facility, I aim to promote student engagement, foster a sense of community, and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.
