A&M-Commerce Students Present at Texas Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine Conference

Several A&M-Commerce graduate students from the Department of Health and Human Performance made poster presentations at the Texas Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine conference on February 23 and 24 in Waco, Texas.

For the ninth year, the group was accompanied by Associate Professor Vipa Bernhardt, who said the conference is “one of the best avenues for our students to learn about the research conducted by students and faculty at other Texas universities and present their own research in a professional environment.” A team of students from A&M-Commerce also competed in the annual Jeopardy-like Student Bowl competition.

As a Platinum Level sponsor at the event, the department showcased its graduate programs to attending students and universities.
