TAMUC Doctoral Candidate Interviewed on Kelly Clarkson Show

A&M-Commerce doctoral candidate Deon Johnson recently appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show.

Through his non-profit organization, Urban Dreams Music and Arts Program, Johnson provides free music and dance lessons for youth in Dallas. The program also provides academic support and helps students gain band scholarships and admission to higher education institutions. Clarkson announced on the show that the program received a $10,000 donation via the H-E-B Be the Change initiative.

Johnson is pursuing his doctorate in higher education through the Department of Higher Education and Learning Technology at A&M-Commerce.
