TAMUC Student Recognized Internationally as June Pike of the Month
A&M-Commerce student Charles Berry was recognized by Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity as June Pike of the Month. Berry was selected from among hundreds of submissions. A press release at pikes.org stated that Berry was nominated for the award because he demonstrates leadership, community service and commitment to his fraternity brothers.
Berry has served as Theta Xi Chapter president, external vice president, and health and safety officer. He was instrumental in the fraternity's efforts to raise more than $20,000 in donations for the North Texas Food Bank over the past two years, and he was recognized as Theta Xi Leader of the Year by his peers.
Berry is a senior business management major in the College of Business at A&M-Commerce. He has served in the United States Marine Corps for over five years where he is a non-commissioned officer.
