A Conversation with Kristi

What do you like most about your career?

I enjoy making a difference in the lives of those whom I serve.

What is a challenge you have had to overcome?

In 2018, I fell down some stairs and suffered a horrific injury causing me to be in and out of the hospital. I was mostly immobile for the majority of an entire year. I'm grateful to so many who have supported me through recovery. Despite all odds, I can now give to others in return while still serving as a Lion.

What is your favorite thing to do around Commerce?

I enjoy taking my dog out for walks around the neighborhood and eating out with colleagues from campus during lunch hours.

What makes you laugh?

Pinterest animal photos.

What do you like to do for fun?

When time permits, cycling, gardening, crafts, and traveling.
