A Conversation with Adam

What is your approach to therapy?

“My approach to therapy is grounded in a reality-based model. This provides the lens by which I listen to and help organize the concerns and problems you are experiencing. The therapeutic alliance for me is “key” in helping you develop awareness, acceptance and change that is built on a mutual foundation of trust. My commitment as a therapist is to assist you in developing a quality world and success identity that you have control over. As a therapist, I consider it an honor and a privilege that you possess the courage and vulnerability to sit across from me and reveal the pain or suffering you may be experiencing, thank you for the opportunity to help in your time of need.”

What do you love the most about A&M-Commerce?

“A&M-Commerce is home to me, as an alumni and current staff member, I love the heart and soul of this university. It brings hope and opportunity to a small rural community in such a big way.”
