Interlibrary Loan

We have millions of print and online resources but we can't purchase everything. In most cases, we can usually get what you want from another library through our Interlibrary Loan Service. We can also scan, digitize or ship items to you. This free service is available to current students, faculty and staff.

Copyright Notice

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.

37 CFR § 201.14 – Warnings of copyright for use by certain libraries and archives.

Get A Copy From Another Library

If the library does not have a book or article that you need, we can get a copy from another library. We will email you when the book is ready for pickup at the library information desk or a copy of the article/book chapter is available to download from your account.

Get A Scan of an Article or Book Chapter

We can scan and deliver articles and book chapters from the library's print collection to you for free. We cannot scan the entire book or journal. We will email you when the scan is available to download from your account.

Remote Delivery for Off Campus UsersDistance Learning

Books from the print circulating collection can also be delivered to the home address of current faculty, staff and students. Materials are shipped via USPS and include a return address and a prepaid postage mailer. Eligible students must live outside of the city of Commerce, be enrolled in an online course and not attend a class that meets in Commerce. Faculty and staff who work at one of A&M-Commerce's other locations are also eligible for remote delivery.
